My life in 10 Years

My life has changed a lot in ten years. I have become a Green Beret; I am part of the first forces on the ground and air forces in the war with China the war has just started, but it does not look like it is going to end any time soon. Chris has joined the Chinese army. Since I am a Green Beret, my job is to call in air strikes on critical Chinese targets like bases and surface to air missile sites. Since Chris has joined the Chinese army he is now the enemy. I wish I would not encounter him. One day I was called on to do a sniper mission. And their he was in a large tank. I had to do my job so I called in an air strike on his tank.
The things I learned at Gurrie that have really helped me are be ready, be safe, and be respectful. Be ready has helped me to react quickly to a situation. Be safe taught me to be carful to avoid getting hurt, or worse, killed. And be respectful of my partners and the enemy, because if you don’t respect you will end up getting killed.
The advances in technology are that there are newer planes, tanks, trucks, and ships. In the civilian market there are new advances in technology too. Like new phones, touch screen TV’s, and smart houses. These really help to everyday life. And are very advanced compared to technology ten years ago. But most has not changed.
I was invited to a Gurrie reunion I was surprised that almost everyone was their well except for Chris because he was well, dead! But everyone had interesting jobs. But everyone was pretty much the same. So we had a lot of fun, but Lucas was so sad because of Chris’s death. But everyone had a lot of fun!
